Rick has been writing since the turn of the century. That makes him sound ancient. But nevertheless, twenty years is a long time.
He’s been crafting mysteries that keep readers turning pages and guessing what’s going to happen next. Influenced by mystery and suspense greats like Stephen King, Dean Koontz and John Grisham, and the haunting prose of Gillian Flynn and Chris Whitaker, his stories weave in the redemptive threads and quiet hope.

What Inspires Me

I love developing stories that bend time and place. Mysteries based on more than just a murder or a crime. Maybe a missing child. An accident that alters the course of a life. Or maybe a hero that saves someone he has a secret connection with. My stories will lead you down dead ends, take a sudden twist right at the end. End in a way you never saw coming.

I currently live in Northern Nevada where I’ve spent the better part of my life. I enjoy spending my free time writing, camping and RVing with my amazing wife, Sheri, and fly fishing.
